Ms. Megan Maguire

I am Megan Maguire, and I was raised in and am a proud resident of Springfield Township. At
Springfield High School I serve as a Special Education teacher. I currently teach 10th grade
Literature and Composition and Itinerant Support. I also serve as the assistant advisor for Youth
and Government (YAG).
I am a proud alumna of Saint Joseph’s University, “The Hawk Will Never Die”. At Saint Joe’s I
earned a B.A. in History with a minor in Secondary Education. I received my certifications to
teach English, Social Studies, and Citizenship. I earned my Special Education certification from
Holy Family University and am currently enrolled there to receive my Masters in Education with
a concentration in Special Education in 2023 as well.
I am thrilled to be part of the Springfield community and am looking forward to creating a
classroom that is safe, innovative, and inspires all students to learn. When I am not in the
classroom I enjoy reading, traveling, and the arts.
