Ms. Kara Travis

My name is Kara Travis, and I teach 9th and 12th grade English. My passion for education started when I taught ballet, tap, and jazz dance to pre-K and elementary-aged students. Through my studies at Ursinus College, I earned my undergraduate degree and Instructional I certification in secondary English. I have since completed graduate coursework at Millersville University and upgraded my certification to an Instructional II. For four years, I taught 7th grade English Language Arts in Lancaster County. I joined the English faculty at Springfield Township High School in 2022. I look forward to meeting my students and their families as we embark on another exciting year of learning!
