Mr. Michael Gaugler

Mr. Michael Gaugler is a special education teacher in Springfield Township Middle School. He started with the school district in February 2024. Prior to arriving at Springfield, he taught in the Whitehall-Coplay School District for 8 years in Emotional Support and Life Skills classrooms.

Mr. Gaugler attended Slippery Rock University for both his bachelors and masters degrees, earning a bachelor's degree in early childhood and special education and a masters degree in special education with an autism endorsement.

Outside of school, Mr. Gaugler enjoys playing video games or getting in a round of golf, traveling with his wife, or trying to cook new foods.
