Ms. Lisa Jurewicz

My name is Ms. Lisa Jurewicz and I am very excited and proud to be a part of the STMS community! I began my teaching career in 2021 at the Cornwall-Lebanon School District where I taught 7th grade ELA. I began my journey as a Spartan in 2023 and I am continuing to teach 7th grade ELA.
I graduated from Saint Joseph's University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Secondary Education and a minor in Linguistics. I decided to continue my education at SJU by participating in a fifth year Reading Specialist program where I received a Masters in Education. During this program I had the opportunity to work one on one with students at various reading levels and learn about their reading interests. One of my favorite parts of being an ELA teacher is talking to my students about their hobbies/interests and finding reading materials that appeal to them.
Outside of school, I love to read, play volleyball, watch movies, and bake! I also enjoy watching all Philly sports with my family and friends.
