Mr. Andre Freeman

In 2014 my wife and I moved to the east coast from sunny California. I am a graduate from San Diego State University where I received my bachelors degree in Electronics/Plastics Technology.  After spending many years in sales and management, I purchased an academic tutoring franchise providing tutoring services for grades 1-12 in all subject areas.  As my passion for education grew, I decided to go back to school to earn my Masters in education and pursue a teaching career.  While pursuing my PA teaching credential, I was a science instructional aide and track & field coach at Springfield Township HS for two years.  I left the school district for an opportunity to teach high school science at MCS Charter school in Philadelphia.  However, I am glad to be back in the district once again teaching 7th grade science here at the middle school.

In my spare time you can find me at the gym, running intervals on the track, or teaching young individuals how to invest in the stock market.  As an empty nester, I enjoy spending every moment possible with my family especially on our annual vacations.
