Mrs. Yamila Kent

¡Hola!

My name is Señora Kent.  I started teaching Spanish in 2000.  I was born in New York City but raised in Philadelphia. My family is from Puerto Rico.  As a native Spanish-Speaker, I enjoy enriching my students’ language learning experience by sharing my first-hand cultural knowledge.  I studied Spanish language interpreting, translation, and education at Temple University.  I have taught Spanish 1 through AP Spanish; and have taught at the high school and the middle school. I have been a part of the School District of Springfield Township Family since 2006. Every day, I get to do what I love!
