Emotional Support

My work in the field of Special Education began in 2005. I started teaching Special Education in Springfield at Erdenheim Elementary in early 2024 and instantly felt at home. As a resident, parent and now educator in the district, there is something very special about the community within this district.

I graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications, but promptly fell in love with the field of Special Education. Back to school I went to pursue my Master’s Degree in Special Education with dual certification in Elementary K-6 and Special Education birth-21.

I live in Oreland with my three children Jack, Luke and Sofia and our dog. I love to spin yarn and knit in my spare time. There’s something meditative and special about relaxing with a fiber project that produces something warm and beautiful. Whether it is learning a new aspect of my hobby craft or professional craft I consider myself a lifelong learner. I’m looking forward to a successful school year inspiring and supporting our students.
