Intervention Support

I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. I earned my Bachelor of the Arts degree in Psychology from King's College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.  After working in different positions using the principals of behavior analyst, I decided to further explore behavior analysis for the treatment of children with Autism. I began my graduate studies under Dr. Phillip Hineline at Temple University in the Curriculum, Instruction and Technology in Education program with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. Upon earning my Master of Science in Education, I became certified through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board. My previous work experience includes residential facilities, early intervention, and special education consulting in public schools. I have presented my work at local and national conferences.

This is my ninth year in the School District of Springfield Township. As the district's behavior analyst, I provide consultative and direct support for children in need of behavior support. I work in collaboration with the teachers to ensure each child's individual educational needs are met through the development and implementation of IEP goals.  My primary responsibilities include conducting Functional Behavior Assessments, developing function-based intervention plans, developing language - based programs on an individual basis, and staff training.

I live in the Springfield Township community!  My favorite way to spend my time is with my husband, Rick, and my children, Gabriel and Caylie.  My hobbies include reading a good book,  exploring the city, going to the beach, and exercising!
