Welcome to Enfield.

My name is Joanne Adar and I have been working as a social worker since 1996.

I have the privilege of working at Enfield with our newest and youngest learners.

As your children and your family enter the school community there are often challenges that arise. I am available to assist you in exploring how your child is feeling and functioning from a social and emotional perspective. SDST appreciates that our children need to feel good about themselves and connected to others in order to function to the best of their abilities.

Please reach out with any questions, concerns or ideas about how your child is navigating his/her school experience. In addition, I am available to connect your family with resources in the community. These might include physical and mental health resources, support groups and financial resources.

The partnership between home and school is a key ingredient to your child’s success. Your child brings concerns from home into the classroom and concerns from school into the home. By working together, we can best understand how to meet your child’s needs.
